Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which NorrTheme membership is right for me?
When you are ready to purchase a membership in order to access our themes, you should choose the appropriate membership option that best suits your actual needs. You’ll need to choose either Joomla templates or WordPress themes and, upon choosing appropriately, you’ll continue on through with the payment process.
If you are just creating personal sites that are to be solely owned by you, then it is suggested that either the “Basic” or “Standard” memberships will meet your needs sufficiently. You always have the option of upgrading your membership to a “Developer” membership by just paying the extra amount difference.
However, if you are a serious developer and your plan is to create a large amount of websites for future clients and businesses, a “Developer” membership is strongly recommended.
Am I allowed to add more domains after my membership has expired?
No. In order to do this, you’ll have to add and verify any and all domains within your membership period. If you wish to add more after your membership has expired, you’ll need to renew your membership. Also, any unused domains will lapse when your membership has expired.
Am I able to get a refund?
NorrTheme offers a “7 Day Refund Policy” which you can read all about on our refund policy page.
I’ve paid for a membership but I haven’t received my account details. What should I do?
Your accounts are automatically created upon a successful payment. If you are not receiving your log-in details, it could be an indication that the payment was not successful and that we need to manually review the status of your payment as well as provide you your log-in details. You may contact us at sales@norrtheme.com if you are experiencing this situation.
Please also keep in mind to check your “spam” folder and ensure that no notifications are there before contacting us.
There is a NorrTheme copyright in the footer of the template – may I remove that?
Yes! You are entitled to change anything you want concerning the visual aspect of our themes. You can remove any visual copyrights. However, you may not remove the copyright information located in the source code.
My membership expired. What happens now?
When your membership expires, you are free to continue using products you have purchased without any restrictions whatsoever. Unfortunately, you will not have any access to downloads, updates, or support for the product(s) you’ve purchased. To gain access to these features, you’ll need to re-new your membership with NorrTheme.
We offer a customer loyalty bonus of a flat 20% off for renewals – excluding personal memberships. This bonus discount is applied when a customer renews (or upgrades) their paid membership within the first 30 days of their membership expiring.
What payment methods are accepted?
We use a well-know and secure payment gateway system that is provided by 2Checkout.com. This system supports all major credit cards as well as offers support for payments made with PayPal. (A PayPal account will be required to make a payment through 2CO.) If you’d like a more detailed description as well as more information about provided payment methods, it can be found in our Terms of Use page.
Could you please explain what your site license means?
The NorrTheme license states that you are able to use our themes on as many sites you wish, keeping in line with the number of sites your membership license allows. You can change the themes on your websites to new ones at any time you wish.
Am I allowed to re-sell any of the Joomla themes or WordPress templates I find at NorrTheme?
You are absolutely forbidden to re-sell any Joomla themes or WordPress templates that you find on NorrTheme. You are, however, allowed to customize the themes and templates as needed to suit the needs of your clients.
Is NorrTheme able to install demonstration templates for me?
Yes. We do offer the option of demonstration installation via our Paid Work Request section located at our forums. We will do a complete installation at your request for 50€. Upon making a request on our forums, our technical staff will install the demo for you within 24 to 48 hours after a successful payment transaction.
